The SOSA Battery Energy Storage Project is being built by Energy Vault, an innovative energy infrastructure company.  It's set to come on line in the second quarter of 2028. It will be operating 24/7, and will have on-site local support during typical office hours.

They are looking forward to keeping our members and community informed on how the project benefits the area, including with how the project will be managed, its safety measures, and the role energy storage can play in helping protect the electrical grid during periods of high demand.
